It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Salvatore on September 4, 2022 at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Filomena. Cherished by his children Giuletta (Pino Pignatari) and Luigi (Nancy). Loving Nonno to his grandchildren; Mary-Anne (Joey), Michael, Salvatore (Angela) and Filomena. Salvatore will be missed by his siblings; Frank (Dina) and Valentina (Luigi Silvestri). Salvatore will always be remembered by all of his nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Visitation will be held at Bernardo Funeral Home (2960 Dufferin Street, south of Lawrence Avenue W.) on Wednesday September 7, 2022 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Clare of Assisi Church (150 St. Francis Ave., north of Rutherford Rd., Woodbridge) on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 9:30 a.m.
Salvatore will be laid to rest at Glendale Memorial Gardens (1810 Albion Road, at Highway 27).
