On November 20, 2022, our dear mother and loving wife Sadie Dube passed away at Beausejour Hospital after a short battle with cancer.
Sadie is pre-deceased by her husband Leon Dube, mother and father Agnes & Joseph Houston as well as brothers Stanford, Buddy, Dennis and Ken Houston, sisters Joyce Houston and Rose Lapointe, sisters-in-law Claudette Houston, Martha Houston, Grace Dube, Lucie Bruneau and brothers-in-law Maurice Bruneau, Ken Sellers, Fern Dube and Gilles Dube.
Mom is survived by her daughters Leslie (Jim), Karen and sons Trevor and Greg (Atarah) as well as her grandchildren Michael (Jill), Myles, Jared, Gabrielle, Amelia and Gerard as well as her great grandson Lincoln.
Mom was born and raised in Pine Falls, MB. She later married her husband Leon in 1966 and together they raised their family in Winnipeg.
Sadie was a very funny and crazy lady. You never knew what she was going to say or do next and that is what people loved about her. We often had to tell Mom to put her filter on but she just ignored us and enjoyed herself! Her grandchildren gave her such happiness; the kind of happiness that only grandchildren can give.
We will miss our mother and remember her with affection and love.
Cremation services have taken place and a Celebration of Life and private interment will follow at a later date.
