  1. I’m saddened to know of the passing of “Aunt” Ruth. I remember her as a woman of poise and warmth with a wonderful melodic timbre to her voice that brightened any time spent in her household, which was one of my favorite places. I look back on times spent under her roof during my childhood and youth with fondness and gratitude. Being welcomed into such a family was to me both a privilege and a gift and I am happy she had such a good, long run. May she rest in peace. I’ll miss knowing she is in this world.
