Dobbie, Ruth Mariam
Ruth passed away in the Perth hospital on Monday October 10th, 2022 at the age of 90 years. She was predeceased by her parents Ernest and Mary Burridge and her beloved husband, James H. Dobbie. Ruth was the loved mother of Dwayne (Carol Ann) Dobbie, Perry (Elaine) Dobbie and Deborah Semple. She was the loved and respected grandmother of Joshua (Paige), Jeremy (Novak), Emily (Derek) and their sons Leland and Declan, Esther and her son Lucas, Janelle (Austin) and their daughters Ellora and Violet Mae. Ruth was predeceased by her siblings Eleanor Dyke, Queenie Barr, Dorothy Burridge and John Burridge. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Ruth was a well-known, respected and gifted organist serving several churches and family occasions over many years in the Lanark area.
Friends may pay their respects at the Blair & Son Funeral Home, 15 Gore St. W., Perth Thursday October 13th, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. Funeral service will be held in St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Perth Friday at 10:30 A.M. immediately followed by a reception in the church hall. Interment will follow in Hopetown Cemetery. Those wishing are asked to consider Gideons or the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital (Perth site) for memorial donations.
