It is with broken hearts that the family of the late Ruth Sacrey announces her sudden passing at her family residence in Fort McMurray, AB on Sunday, May 29, 2022 at the age of 53 years.
Here is a little story that should be told of a beautiful lady with a heart of gold. Ruth was born on August 1, 1968 and raised in Ming’s Bight to loving parents, Albert and Eileen Regular.
At the age of 17 years, May 31, 1985, she married the love of her life, David Sacrey. They were blessed with three beautiful children, Samantha, Tyrone and Dustin and later they were blessed with her most precious gifts, four grandchildren and they became the center of her world.
She touched the hearts of many. Her kindness, strength, determination, love for her family and most importantly her beautiful smile that brightened everyone around her will be forever loved and remembered by her family and friends.
Left to cherish many wonderful memories are her loving husband, David Sacrey; daughter, Samantha Riffell (Mike); sons, Tyrone Sacrey (Nekita) and Dustin Sacrey; grandchildren, Ethan Riffell, Blake Parsons, Ryder and Logan Sacrey; mother, Eileen Richards (Art); siblings, Christine Fudge (Bert), Eddie Regular (Ella), Derrick Regular (Cathy), Doris Dort, Kirby Regular (Phyllis), Martina Ropson (Neil), Brian Regular (Marlene), Bonnie Gray (Dennis) and Vanessa Morey (Jerry); siblings-in-law, Emma Regular (Clarence), Doris Regular, Wil Sacrey (Sandra), Beverly Rice (Barry) and Joan Sacrey (Wade), as well as a large circle of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Ruth is predeceased by her dad, Albert Regular; step-dad, Henry Foster; parents-in-law, Robert and Daphne Sacrey.
Public visitation will take place from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Ming’s Bight, NL on Tuesday, June 7, 2022 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm.
The funeral service will take place from Calvary Pentecostal Church, Ming’s Bight, NL on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at 2 pm with Pastor Ricardo Durdle officiating, assisted by Pastor Bill Sampson. Interment will follow at Calvary Pentecostal Cemetery.
