Passed away peacefully at Northumberland Hills Hospital on February 10, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Ron Andrus. Ron and Ruth raised three children, Tammy (Paul Desbarbieux), Penny (Len Bates), and Raymond Andrus (Brenda). They were adored by their grandchildren, Kelsey (Damien), Matthew (Rachael), Jesse (Laura), and Jordan (Mikayla).
Ruth was thrilled to be blessed with her great-grandson Massey. Ruth is survived by her siblings Lois Nichols and Jim Parnell and sisters-in-law Shirley Andrus and Helen Parnell. Ruth was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and will be especially missed by her nieces, Michelle Chard and Susan McClelland.
The family finds solace that Ruth will be reunited with Ron whom she has missed every day since his death.
A private family service will be held.
Memorial donations would be appreciated by the family to ALS Canada or the NHH Foundation.
