Ruth Keogh Saturday November 26th 2022

Keogh, Ruth
January 1, 1939 – November 26, 2022
Ruth May (Burgess) Keogh of Harriston passed away at Palmerston & District Hospital in her 84th year.
Remembered by her daughters Catherine and Roger Waite of Ashfield, Dianna and Maurice Keels of Cambridge, Roseanne Keogh and Terry Genereaux of Cambridge, and Tracy Keogh-Pires and Kerry Rogers of Harriston. Loved dearly by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sister Nellie and Jim Jenkins of Los Angeles, and her brother Bud and Debbie Burgess of Winnipeg, MB., and will be deeply and sorely missed by Russy.
Predeceased by her parents Alfred and Alma (Laffin) Burgess, husband Bruce Keogh, son Michael Keogh, and her sister Katherine Spalding.
Along with being a butcher, Ruth was primarily a caregiver. She loved her sports… ‘Go Leafs Go!’, and also loved knitting, camping, and her cats. She enjoyed cooking for family and friends, and was the best baker.
Private family arrangements have been entrusted to the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston.
Memorial donations to Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
