Mrs. Ruth Ann LaMarsh-Day, a resident of Walpole Island, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance “Chatham Campus” at the age of 73years.
Ruth was born in Wallaceburg and was a daughter of the late Augustin (Gus) and Rose (Belanger) Sterling. Beloved wife of William Kennith “Kenny” Day.
Loving mother of Tammy LaMarsh and Carrie (Will) Durance.
Dear grandmother of Christopher, Steven, Micheal and great grandmother of Milah and Laylah.
Kind step-mother of Brandon, William and Mary.
Sister and sister-in-law of Marjorie (Don) Benedict, Cheryl (Bill) Sanderson, Bonnie Broad, Theodore (Ted) Sterling, Joy Sterling and Lori Sterling.
Predeceased by two brothers Don and Jim.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m.
Cremation will follow and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be left at the funeral home.
