STORING, Russell “Rusty”
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Russell “Rusty” Storing on July 13, 2022 after a truly heroic and fierce fight with cancer. He leaves behind his loving wife Karen and his two amazing children Alexander “April” Rose and James of whom he was so deeply proud. Also left behind is his dear mother Margaret Storing and adoring sister Lyn Storing as he reunites with his father Jim Storing and his grandparents. He was a talented and dedicated auto technician always helping those in need. Known in the paintball world as “Jester” his eagle eyes, sharp shooting and quick wit will be long remembered and admired. So many people have been touched by his mighty soul. Russ has left this world a better place. A special thank you to the amazing team at RVH.

Friends are invited to join the family at the Carruthers & Davidson Funeral Home, 509 River Road West, Wasaga Beach on Saturday, July 23, 2022 for visitation from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 2 o’clock with Reverend Barry Doner officiating. The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend. A link will be made available on his Book of Memories under the Photos & Videos tab. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre – Cancer Centre in Barrie, Ontario.
