Ruby’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ruby Jane Osmond, announce her passing on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2022 at Dr. Charles L LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL at the age of 74 years. Born in Port aux Basques, NL, Ruby was the daughter of the late Earl and Emma Musseau. She was also predeceased by her brothers; Donald, Calvin and Rick Musseau.
She will be forever remembered and missed by her children; Tony (Arlene) Osmond, Ted (Valerie) Osmond, Susan (Troy) Gillam, Jason (Edwina) Osmond, grandchildren; Keisha (Justin), Tyler, Dakota (Kearston), Krystal, Kaitlyn, Carly, Alexia (Arthur) and her two precious great-grandchildren; Gracie and Harper.
Ruby also leaves to mourn her siblings; Raymond (Audrey) Musseau, Harriet (Aubrey) Strickland, Alex (Jessie) Musseau, Hilda (Richard) Cake, Nancy (Don) Rideout, Darlene McNeil, sister in-law; Leslie Musseau, special niece Angie plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre as well as the staff of Mountain Hope Manor for the amount of dedication, thoughtfulness, compassion and care given to our mother. For this; we are forever grateful.
In keeping with Ruby’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be on Friday, June 24th from 7-9 p.m. at East Haven Funeral Home Inc., (Downtown Location), 134 Main Street, Port aux Basques. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25th at 2 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Channel-Port aux Basques officiated by Rev. Jane Allen. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers are graciously accepted and donations in Ruby’s memory may be made to the charity of ones choice.
