Obituary
Elaine was born in Waterhole Alberta and spent her school and growing up years in Hines Creek. Moving to Canyon Creek with her mom and Dad where she helped work in the store and post office they owned. They moved to Virden, Manitoba where she met and married Lawrence Morin, Lawrence and Elaine moved to White Rock BC where they raised their three children. They lived there until1979 when Laurence passed away. Elaine later moved to Grande Prairie to take care of her mom. In that time, she met and married her husband, Bob Osborne. They married in 1988 and moved to Bob’s farm in Green Island. In 1996 they moved from the farm into Fairview. About 2018 Elaine and Bob moved to the Harvest Lodge and were very happy there as Elaine was not enjoying cooking any longer.
Elaine loved crafts, she created and owned her own ceramic business, crocheted, and did other crafts. Elaine made sure everyone had an afghan.
Elaine leaves behind her husband Bob Osborne, daughter Marlene and husband Jim. Their families Cara and Clint Leaf, Crista and Derrick Gair, and Jamie and Berkley Rogers. Daughter Ruby Lea Fraser and husband James. Their families Katrina and Chris Beharrell, Heather Fraser, and Robbie Pierson. Son Tim Morin and wife Patti. Their families Dayna Morin, Devon and Julie Morin. Stepchildren Peggy and Ian Gardner and Sharon and Adrien Potter and their families. Also 19 great grandchildren.
Elaine was predeceased by husband Lawrence Morin, mother, and father Gordan and Bessie Chalmers, brothers William and Harley Chalmers (Wives Joan and Doreen Chalmers), sister Rebecca and husband Al Schmidt, and grandson Dallas Morin.
A service for Elaine will be held November 2nd, 2022, at the Fairview Legion Hall at 2pm.
