Roy William Young
April 24, 1959 – July 15, 2022
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Roy William Young, on Friday July 15, 2022 at Calder Heath Care Center, Burgeo, Newfoundland at the age of 63 years. Left to mourn with beautiful loving memories his wife Joan; Children: Todd (Lynette), Jeff (Pam); Grandchildren: Alyssa, Keadan, Hailey, Julie, Kerian and Emily; Brothers: Garland (Jessie), Hughie (Ellen), Reg (Madge), Keith (Olive); Sister: Mary-Mae (Lawarence deceased). Also, numerous treasured nieces, nephews, relatives, and many, many friends. He was predeceased by his Father: James Young; Mother: Dora-Mae Rose (Young); Step-Father: Nathan Rose. In order not to leave anyone out, we would like to say thank you for the overwhelming support we have received. You all know who you are and we are forever grateful.
Visitation will be at the Anglican Church in Burgeo, Sunday 17 July from 2-4 and 7-9. Monday 18 July from 2-4 and 7-9.
Funeral will be Tuesday 19 July at 2 pm with Rev. Dcn Brenda Strickland officiating. Internment to follow at the Burgeo Community Cemetery.
