Roy Murphy
1941-2022
RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB – Roy Murphy 80, of
Richibouctou-Village passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February
8, 2022. Born in Balla Philip, he was the son of the late
Jimmy Murphy and late Cordelia (Hudson)
Murphy.
Roy will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 52 years,
Karen (Sherb) Murphy of Richibouctou-Village; two sons, James Murphy
(Syndi) of Vancouver, BC, Kevin Murphy (Joanne) of Grimsby, ON; eleven
grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and his fur babies, Maggie
and Misty.
He is also survived by one sister, Emily Murphy of Moncton;
two brothers, Leo Murphy (Merrillyn) of Balla Philip, Murray Murphy of
Richibucto; sister-in-law, Venerance Murphy of St. Charles and several
nieces and nephews.
Besides is parents, he was predeceased by one grandson, Shawn
and three brothers, Wayne, John and Kenny.
In keeping with Roy’s wishes there will be no
visitation at the funeral home or funeral service. The
family wish to express a sincere thank you to the doctors and Extra
Mural staff for all their kind and compassionate care given to
Roy.
Arrangements are in care of Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto (523-4252).
