On October 20, 1952 he was united in marriage to Ruth Paxman at Tribune United Church. Roy and Ruth farmed at Tribune, the main products produced were turkeys, chickens, grain, beef and eggs. Roy worked for Hanna Brothers out of Regina as a heavy duty mechanic in the 1960s. Roy loved his hobbies – woodturning, machinist, archeology, lapidary work and fishing. He never stopped learning. Roy loved to travel, Arizona, Texas and the Yukon being some of their destinations.
In 2008 Roy and Ruth rented an apartment in Weyburn. Roy continued to drive to the farm tending his gardens, yard and his saskatoons until 2015 at which time he moved to Doris’s Place then to Tatagwa View. We are very grateful for the care he received while at Doris’s Place and Tatagwa View.
