Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roy Herbert Young announce his passing on November 13th, 2022 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 79th year. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his wife of 36 years, Jane Young; his children: Lisa, Lana (Roland), Raina, Roy (Melanie), Michael (Wendy), and Graham (Amanda); grandchildren: Susan, Vickie, Steven and their families, as well as Devon, Liam, Dylan, Ryan, Megan, and Zachary; his brother: Eric (Peggy), and sister: Debbie (Keith); and a large circle of other relatives and many friends.
Roy is predeceased by his parents, Herb and Molly Young; and his brother: Brian.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 at Country Haven Funeral Home at 1:00 PM from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 PM with Rev. Mickton officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request. A donation can be made to the Canadian Lung Association (www.lung.ca/) in Roy’s memory.
