Obituary
It is with great sadness that the families of Ross Pynn announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Thursday August 18th, 2022 at the age of 73 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his step- daughter; Norma (Gilbert Jenkins), his siblings; Patsy Goobie, Fred Pynn, Marilyn (Llewellyn Ralph), Wallace (Doreen), Royburn (Karen), Mildred (Woodrow Combdon), Carl (Trudy), and Hursey (Tony), his sisters-in-law; Alma Pynn, Major Lorraine (John Gerard). Ross was predeceased by his loving wife; Audrey of 42 years, his parents; Martha and Joseph Pynn, his brother; Leeward, sister; Adelaide and Frances Colbourne, James Pynn, and brother-in-law; Gilbert Goobie. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and many friends.
Ross worked in Ontario for a number of years, and was also the Mayor of Hampden, after returning home. He loved fishing for trout and salmon, and spent many enjoyable years at this.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Ross’s memory to the Salvation Army Cemetery Hampden fund.
The family will be receiving family and friends at the Salvation Army Citadel in Hampden, NL, on Sunday, August 21st, 2022 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday, August 22nd, 2022, at 2:00 pm, with Major Henry Bingle officiating with burial to follow at the Salvation Army section of the Hampden Community Cemetery in Hampden, NL.
