Kerwin, Ross William – peacefully at Quinte Health – Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at the age of 87 years. Son of the late Ross and Lorna Kerwin. Beloved husband of Bonnie Kerwin (nee Carr-Braint) of Belleville. Dear father of Beverley Tripp (Bob) and Paul Kerwin. Proud grandfather of Jamie Lee (Joshua) Jonah and Ashley Tripp and great grandfather of Jesse (Janet), Alyxandra, Finnegan and Tripp. Dear brother of David (Erika) Kerwin, Judy (Frank) Borgatti and Stephen Kerwin.
Ross is also survived by his stepchildren, Kim Crossley and Melissa (George) Shearer, step grandchildren, Christian, Brandon, Katie and Emily and his brothers-in-law, Larry (Marg), Joel (Marj) and Scott (Susan) Carr-Braint. He is predeceased by the mother of his children, Arley Kerwin, by his son-in-law Larry Tripp and his brother-in-law, David Carr-Braint.
He is also remembered by his close friend, Paul Skelding and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Ross’ Life will be held at the Steele Family Center, 20 Moira Street West, Belleville on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
The family extend their heartfelt gratitude to the doctors, nurses and staff of Kingston General Hospital and Belleville General Hospital (Quinte 6) for their care and compassion over the past several months.
If desired, Memorial Donations to the Belleville General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Steele Funeral Home, Moira Street Chapel 613-968-2273.
