Ross’ Obituary
With heavy hearts, Ross Edwin Roeck’s family announces his passing. Ross will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his family and many wonderful friends. Ross is survived by his partner Jennifer Olsen and their dog Diesel, mother Myra Roeck, brother Richard (Meaghan), sister Jana, in laws Ron and Sharon, and sisters-in-law Robyn (Michael), Krista (Wally) and Shauna (Brian). He is also survived by nieces and nephews: Madison, Eli, Jed, Michaela, Samuel, Nash, Lexi (Owen), Brenna, Walter, Reidar and Kasia. He is also survived by his aunt, uncle and cousins in the states. His “kids” Cody and Sara, Tiffany, and Patrick, along with his special girls who lovingly referred to him as Grumps: Sadie, Julie, Charlie and Abigail. Ross was predeceased by his father, Ralph Roeck Jr.
Ross loved anything with an engine, cooking for a crowd, and motorcycles. You could find Ross in his favorite spot, the shop, trading stories and a few drinks with all who stopped by. Ross may have grumbled, but he was the type of guy who would do anything for anyone in need.
A celebration of life will be held at the Ear Falls Royal Canadian Legion Branch 238 on Saturday, October 15, from 1 to 4 pm. If desired, donations may be made in Ross’s memory to a charity of choice through the Red Lake Chapel, Box 237, Red Lake, ON P0V 2M0.
