Obituary
Passed peacefully away March 19, 2022.at Pleasant View Towers LTC, Rosemary Crawley, age 89, of St. John’s, (formerly of St. Mary’s, SMB).
Predeceased by husband Andy; children Terry and Mona;.parents Patrick and Mary Vail; sisters Anna Stapleton and Patricia O’Brien; and brother Michael Vail.
Leaving to mourn her devoted sons Jim (Brenda) and Andrew (Anne); and daughter-in-law Jean (Terry); sister Jeanette Maupin (Terry); and grandchildren Andy (Amanda), Alex (Sarah) and James. Also, many cousins, nephews, and nieces’; especially Courtney Maupin. We also wish to thank James Murray (Maureen) who provided a lifetime of support to the Vail family.
Mom began her work life as a teacher in the Gaskiers at the age of 16 and ended full circle when she retired as director of MUN child care center. Throughout her life, Mom always provided well for us and many others. Her humour and intelligence will be missed.
Cremation has taken place with internment at Holyrood to follow. A family celebration of her life will take place at a later date.
