Rosehetty Hetty Pittman Clarke Sunday January 30th 2022

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rose H. Pittman of Little Bay East announces her passing. Rose passed away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center in Burin on Sunday, January 30th, 2022 at the age of 84.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful cherished memories are her children, Roland (Jill) of Pouch Cove, Sheila (William) of Marystown, Kevin (Nellie) of Little Bay East, Albert (Donna) of Turo, NS, Olive (Ken) of Bay L’Argent, Susan (Randy) of Saskatoon, SK, and Gordon (Kelly) of Bay L’Argent; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; brothers, William (Mabel), and Haldean (Jessie); sister, Anne; brother-in-law, Alvin; sister-in-law, Beatrice; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
Rose was very well know in the area for her seamstress abilities and knitting creations. She devoted her life to her family and her religion. Her faith was very important to her and she was very proud of her UCW life-long membership award. She was well known for her love of playing darts, dancing and her card shark abilities with her family, she has probably taken the ace of hearts with her.
Rose was predeceased by her husband Oliver; her parents, Albert and Gladys Clarke; brothers, Albert and Charles; sister-in-law, Margaret; brother-in-law, Lewis; daughter-in-law, Sandra; and her special friend, Onslo Smith
