Roseanne Bourgeois 2022

We, the family of Rosanne Jane Bourgeois, regret to announce her passing on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born October 18, 1943, in Sydney, she was the daughter of the late John and Ann (MacIntyre) Lamond.
Roseanne began her career teaching for the Eskasoni School Board. She later switched to payroll administration for the Sydney wharf, and later, the New Waterford Hospital. Roseanne loved to travel, having been to most of Canada and the Eastern United States. Her more recent travels revolved around Celtic Colors festivals with her sister, Mary.
An avid card player, she would often be found at a tarabish table. Affectionately known as “Ma”, she was always there to offer support and advice to anyone in need.
