It is with Heavy Hearts we announce the passing of Our Beautiful Mother, Rose Marie Wolsey on Friday, October 21, 2022 at Fiddick Nursing Home in Petrolia She passed away peacefully with her two daughters by her side.
Rose Marie is predeceased by her parents Roy Cleveland Tobias and Stella May Tobias (nee McKellar) and her late husband Edmund Wolsey.
Survived by her children Kathleen Dhillon (Baljit Dhillon) and Angela Hills (Ron Hills), Michael McCormack and Kevin McCormack, Birth Mother of Kim Viggers Hinchberger. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, Aaron Hills (Kelly), Kyle Hills (Taylor), Marc McRae (Jennifer), Melissa McRae, Melanie Potter (Andrew), Tyler Nicholson, Scott McCormack (Sarah), Nicole Gagnon (Jamie) and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mom was an accomplished Hair Stylist for many years in Sarnia. She had a passion for cooking and baking which also became a passion for her two daughters. Her happiest years were spent with all her grandchildren camping at Port Albert. Many memories of these times will forever live in the hearts of her grandchildren and are reminisced upon often. She loved music and jokes and spending time with her family.
Private cremation has been entrusted to the D. J. Robb Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 102 N. Victoria St, Sarnia, ON, N7T 5W9 and upon her request there will not be a service. Donations made on behalf of Rose Marie to the Salvation Army at www.salvationarmy.ca would be appreciated. Memories, photographs or messages of condolence may be shared through www.djrobb.on.ca
