Rose Marie Holmes
1939-2022
With broken hearts and appreciation of a life well lived, the
family of Pastor Anna “Rose Marie” (Vienneau) Holmes of
Fawcett Hill, NB announce that she received her heavenly reward on
September 12, 2022 at 83 years young.
Born in Campbellton, NB in 1939, she was a daughter of the
late Rev. Joseph and Margaret Vienneau.
She, together with her late husband Rev. Howard, spent a
lifetime in ministry in Parrsboro, East Green Harbour, Newcastle, East
Jeddore, and finally made Full Gospel Assembly Killams Mills home
since 1974. Rose Marie had a deep love for her Lord
and Savior, her family, her church family and her friends. She will
always be remembered for her home cooked meals and desserts, offering
a cup of tea, a listening ear, her prayers and sound Godly
advice.
Rose Marie is survived and sadly missed by her daughters,
Margie Lynn Demont and Charis (Jeff) of Fawcett Hill, NB; her sons:
Myles (Valerie) of Collinsville, IL, Jody (Karen) of Boom Road, NB,
and David (Dawn) of Petitcodiac; her grandchildren: Jeremy (Alanna),
Marla, Twila (Colin), Jordan (Rachel), Zachary (Ripley), Angela
(Caleb), Chantelle (Cody) and Destiny (William), Jay (Ashley), Kendra
(Nathaniel), Chelsea-Dawn, Meagan (Joshua), Brayden (Kristen), Isaiah,
Davey, Grace and Emma; her 10 great grandchildren; a special nephew,
Vinnie; her sister, Betty-Jean Godfrey (late Ronald) of Miramichi; her
brother, Alfred (Nancy) of Campbellton; her sisters-in-law Vera, Linda
and Maude as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her dear husband,
Rev. Howard E. Holmes, son-in-law Bernie and brothers Joseph Duthie,
James and David Vienneau.
Resting at Full Gospel Assembly, Wednesday, September
14th, 199 Blakney Rd, Killams Mills, the family
will receive visitors starting at 6:00pm until 8:00pm. A Funeral
service will be held Thursday, September 15th,
at the Full Gospel Assembly at 2:00pm with interment at the Steeves
Settlement Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Pastor
Rose Marie Holmes to Full Gospel Assembly or a charity of the
donor’s choice.
