Obituary
MacDONALD, Rosalind Isobel (nee: Glover) …peacefully at her residence on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife for 45 years of the late Lawrence Fredrick Herbert “Herb” MacDonald. Loving mother of Diane MacDonald & her partner Rick Johnson and Lynn Preston & her husband Gary. Cherished sister of Carol Drouillard & the late Clayton, Elaine & the late George Abraham, Sue & Andy VanBodegom and sister in law Karen MacDonald.
She is predeceased by her parents Ed & Kate Glover, her brothers Ron Glover (Betty Weese), Richard Glover, her parents in law Fred & Florence MacDonald, sisters in law Doris Carr (Clare), Bonnie Sanderson (Ken), her brother in law Ron MacDonald and her beloved feline companion, Scamper. Sadly missed by her many family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Weaver – East, 29 Bay St., Trenton on Tuesday, June 21st from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Funeral ceremony will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 pm. Interment St. George’s Cemetery. Masks are not mandatory, but due to health concerns they would be preferred. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Trenton Care & Share Food Bank or the Humane Society Hastings and Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
