It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosalind Janes on Sunday, November 1, 2020 at the Health Sciences Centre, age 72 years. Predeceased by her mother Olive Baker (nee Snelgrove) and father Alexander Baker. Leaving to remember Ros with so many cherished memories, her husband Frank Janes; daughter Jody (Darryl) Roach; grandchildren Charlotte and Alex whom she dearly loved. Also lovingly remembered, her sisters Phyllis Ryall, Gloria Stamp, Sharon Corrigan; half sister Dianne Leckey (deceased); sisters-in-law Brenda Power, Sharon Gosse; and Angela LeBlanc whom she considered her own daughter, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and beloved friends. Ros selflessly put her family first and cherished every moment spent with them; especially her grandchildren who were the center of her world. We would like to thank everyone who has reached out to our family over the past year with their kindness and compassion to help care for Ros and our family in some way. Cremation has taken place. Graveside burial to take place on Wednesday, August 24th, 2022 at 10:15 *on site at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Outer Cove. Donations in her memory can be made to the St. John’s SPCA – spcastjohns.org/make-a-giftth/

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Rosalind Janes 2022..
