Obituary of Rosalie Caroline Pothier-Burnie
Rosalie Caroline Pothier-Burnie, of Digby, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 in the Yarmouth Regional Hospital on July 16, 2022. Born in Ashmore, Digby County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Joseph and Mary Edna (Thibault) Thibodeau.
Rosalie was member of the Digby Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Mom is survived by her husband, Jim; children, Gloria (Al) Macdonald, Rob (Tracey) Burns, Al (Angie) Burns, Lila (Paul) Dugas, Patricia (Rob) MacDonald, Taryn (Ricky) Melanson, Darlene Hersey, Stephen (Lynn) Nesbitt, and Sherry (Scott) Lohnes; grandchildren, Michelle, Julie, Jody, Jesse, Amanda (Nathan), Jennifer (Chris), Laura, Rachel, Yvette, Paul Marc, Alisha Ann (Toby), Brandon (Katie), Cory (Stephanie, daughter, Lexi), Mitchell, Becky, and Courtney (Sam); great-grandchildren, Taylor, Jahvon, Madison, Skylah, Brooke, Raven, Daxton, and Claire; brothers Roy, Joseph, and John; sisters, Grace, and Caroline; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Rosalie was predeceased by her brother, Daniel; sister, Barbara, and son-in-law, Phillip Hersey.
A Memorial Service and burial will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to jw.org . Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
