Obituary of Ron Vandenhende
A resident of Blenheim, Ronald “Ron” Vandenhende passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at the age of 58.
He was the son Olive (nee De Leeneer) and of the late Gilbert Vandenhende.
Forever loved by his two daughters, Alyssa Dietrich (Dylan) & Kendra Vandenhende (Brennan).
Brother of Jason Vandenhende (Kate), & the late Deborah Van Dyk (2008).
Remembered always by his special niece & best friend, Chelsey Barlow (Nathan Chavis) and nephew, Jeremy Stirling (Bre).
Great-uncle of Lyndon, Oliver, Winston & Malcolm.
Growing up, Ron was an avid hockey player – spending many hours on the ice. More recently, he was an active member of the local volleyball league, enjoyed cruising on his motorcycle & always had love for his three girls.
As per Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Memorial donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or to the Pet & Wildlife Rescue.

    Sorry to hear of Ron’s passing , it’s been years since visiting, I grew up playing hockey with Ron
    He was an all star Goalie , and after minor hockey he worked out and wow was built to ride that Motorcycle.
