Ronald Ron Gregory 1938 2022

Obituary of Ronald Gregory
Ron Gregory (Nov. 7, 1938 – Dec. 16, 2022)
Peacefully, in his 85th year, Ron Gregory passed away. He was a devoted husband to Bette Ann for more than 60 years. Proud father to three sons; Rich (Anna), Mike (Carrie), and Dave (Juli-Ann). Cherished grandfather to Karina, Eryka, Jordan, Becca, and Nick. Dear brother-in-law to Sharron Mahony (the late Dave), Bill Fitzpatrick (Ellen), and Harry Fitzpatrick (Francey). Predeceased by his sister Bonnie Carter (Gord) and beloved cousins Marlene and Helen.
A proud milkman his whole career. Ron was also the enthusiastic owner and operator of a red Snapper Riding Lawn Mower. Ron spent his teen years at the third ferry on the Welland Canal in Port Colborne, where he was the undisputed underwater swimming champion. His humour and quick wit will be missed. Special thanks to his niece Debbie and her husband Andy for their love and attention, especially in his final weeks.
Friends and family are invited to join us for a visitation from 11a.m. to 2p.m. on Monday, December 26, 2022, at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main Street, Welland. A chapel service will begin at 2p.m. Following Ron’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
