Obituary of Ronald Patrick O’Neill
Ronald Patrick O’Neill
It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the sudden passing of our father Patrick “Pat”, age 80 of Halifax, on February 20, 2022, at home, in the presence of his daughter and granddaughter.
He was the son of the late John and Sarah O’Neill. He was predeceased by his brother John “Jackie”, a sister in infancy, his son, Kyle Ronald John and grandson, Michael Patrick. As well as his ex-wife, Congetta Olivarez.
He is survived by his brothers Francis “Frank” (Donna), Douglas (Teresa). He is also survived by his three children – Catherine, Patrick (Denise) and Terri-Lee “Tessy” (Ken) His grandchildren – Kenny, Carlos, Joey, Jennifer, Patrick, Austin, Jaclyn and great grand-children Liam, Luke, Brielle, Braelynn, Ollie, Sophie. As well as many nieces, nephews and friends to part.
Dad, with his charming larger than life personality, made many friends along the way, and was well loved by many. Anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him knew he was extremely passionate about his love for baseball, as well as darts, which won him multiple maritime championship games.
In his early years he was quite the social butterfly who loved his drink, so to honor him we would like to have a toast in his memory, however, due to Covid restrictions a celebration of life will be held at a later date so that we may all raise a glass of cheer to Paddy O’Neill!
Cremation has already taken place under the care and direction of J. Albert Walker Funeral Home, Spryfield.
Messages and memorials for the family may be place on the tribute wall on the left.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Ronald
