Ronald Bryce Hollinger 2022

Obituary of Ronald Bryce Hollinger
Hollinger, Ronald Bryce
It is with broken hearts that we announce Ron’s passing at his home in Ramara, ON after a very brief battle with cancer on April 4th, 2022 in his 68th year. Born in Newmarket, ON, dear son of Floyd Hollinger and Ethel (Hollinger) Yake (both predeceased). Beloved husband of Karen Arnold. Loving father of Amy Arnold, and proud grandfather to Tristan Arnold. Dear brother of Patercia Carkner and husband Junior, and Shirley Hollinger. Ron will be dearly missed by his many friends and family. Prior to his retirement Ron was a Senior Water/Wastewater Plant Operator for 30 years taking great pride in providing safe water for the residents of the Township of Ramara. Ron was a proud member of Back Alley Cruisers and was always willing to help someone figure out how to fix their cars or make modifications to make their car better. One of his favorite pastimes was to head to the States with his “dad” Dave Riseboro and spend days at the huge auto flea markets searching for car part treasures. He was known as “the guy on Highway 12 with the huskies.” Please join us for a celebration of Ron’s Life on Saturday, May 14 from 1:30 – 3:30 at the Joyland Beach Community Centre, 4303 McRae Park Rd, Ramara ON. Bring your hot rods and your funny stories to share. We hope the car guys and gals will come and bring their cars. In keeping with the Back Alley Cruisers’ chosen charity, donations can be made to your local food bank. Messages of condolence are welcomed at Simcoe Funeral Home www.simcoefuneralhome.ca
