Peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospice of London on Saturday, September 24, 2022, Ronald Keith Walker, of RR.2 Glencoe passed away in his 84th year. Son of the late William and Irene Walker. Predeceased by his beloved wives Charlotte (Jackson) and Sherry (Westbrook). Dear father of Darlene (Randy) Hoover and Gordon (Tina) Walker. Loving stepfather to Laurie (Ayube) Amiruddin, Lynn (Adam) Bennett, and Sarah (Zach) Faulds. Dear brother of Robert (Irene) Walker and predeceased by his brother Ray Walker and his sister Jean Walker. Grandpa (Poppa) to Lindsey (Cameron), Andrew (Jen), Amanda (Mikal), Evan, Tyler, Austen, Marcus, Sophie, Anela, and Audrey. Fondly remembered by his large number of extended family and friends. Ron taught at Glencoe District High School from 1966 to 1994 when he retired and began farming on his beloved Thistledown Red Deer Farm which he continued until 2022. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Thursday, September 29th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, September 30th at 1:30 pm at Burns Presbyterian Church, Mosa where Ronald served as an Elder. Rev. Michael Burns officiating. Interment to follow at Kilmartin Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to Burns Presbyterian Church, Mosa or St. Joseph’s Hospice of London.
