Ronald Maxwell “Pa” Taylor of Kincardine, passed away peacefully at Huron Shores Hospice, Tiverton, on Tuesday October 18, 2022, in his 91st year.
Loving husband of the late Sheila Taylor (nee Piggott). Predeceased by his parents Ernest Taylor, Catherine Ellen” Blye” and Tom Joyce.
Survived by his sons Gary (Barbara), Mark (Annie) and Adrian (Jacquie) and sister Cath (Trevor) Simms.
Cherished “Pa” of Shane Hansen (Jay), Jamie Taylor (Luke) Jodi Taylor (L), Brianna Reaume (Neil), Pearce Taylor, Sharon Lytle (Curtis), Alex Neitzel (Jeremey) , Tori Hamilton (Bob) plus, 10 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews from England, along with close friends in the United States.
Ron worked for Ontario Hydro and O.P.G. until his retirement in 1993, when his days were filled with fishing and golfing. He enjoyed nothing more than a BBQ surrounded by his family.
Known for his sage advice and wicked sense of humour, Ronald touched the lives of many, and he will be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Tuesday October 25, 2022, at 2:00 p.m..
Interment Kincardine Cemetery followed by a reception at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #183, Kincardine.
A big thank you, to the staff at Trillium Retirement Home and Huron Shores Hospice for your care and kindness.
Memorial donations, if so desired, to Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated by Ronald’s family.
