Ronald’s Obituary
KNOX, T.R. Ronald – 79, Sandy Point, (formerly Barrington) passed away peacefully at the Roseway Hospital in Sandy Point on Tuesday March 29, 2022. Born August 29, 1942 in Halifax he was a son of Thomas Robert (Sr.) and Margaret Winifred (Fisher) Knox.
He enjoyed walking, spending time with family and friends and cherished the time spent with his grandchildren. He was member of the Masonic Lodge, a Shriner and a life-long Toronto Maple Leaf’s fan.
He spent over 40 years in Property management and building maintenance in and around the Boston Massachusetts area before retiring and returning to Nova Scotia.
Ronald leaves behind his sons; Eric, Leon (Elizabeth), grandchildren; Connor, Katie, Madison and Haley,brother Carl (Joyce) Knox, sisters; Winifred Hadskis, Dianne (Stanley) Scott, Dorothy Church, Barbara (Robert) Weatherhead, Judith Godin and close friends St. Clair Kenney, Barbara Matthews and Hughie Hemeon
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Annie M. (Nickerson), brother Vincent Waller and sister Francis Waller.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 25, at 11 am from the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington.
Donations in his name can be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Canada.
