The family announces with sorrow his death on Saturday August 27, 2022, at the age of 84. Son of late Mary Ellen and late Edward Mahoney. Loving husband to late Rozy for 57 years. Devoted father to Shelley and Roddy, and father-in-law to Eric and Jill. Cherished grandfather to Lilith, Mackenzie, Silas, Zoe, Samuel and Izak and great-grandfather to Nyx-Malachite. Dear brother to late Leonard, Late Joan, late Kathleen, late Raymond, Rita, Jack, late Victor and Elaine. Uncle Ron to the extended families of Mahoney and Charron.
Ron was a kind and gentle man, a heavy equipment operator at the mines and a steadfast Toronto Maple Leaf fan. He enjoyed travelling with his family and his Summers at Cooks Lake, happy hours and coffee at the square with many friends and family.
We adapt his favorite song to sing.

Cremation has taken place. A committal service will be held on Thursday September 8, 2022 at 11 a.m. at the Timmins Memorial Cemetery, followed by a reception at Lessard-Stephens Reception Centre.
