Peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Hospice, Sarnia, Ronald “Ron” Paul Choptovy passed away at the age of 65. He leaves behind his wife Cindy, his daughter Krystal, his granddaughter Madyson, and his son Ron. Survived by his brother Rick, sisters Linda and Nancy, aunt Donna, and his dear cousin, Judy. Also survived by his mother-in-law Norene and brothers-in-law, Jim (Melissa), Steve, and Bryan (Stephanie). He will be dearly missed by his lifelong friends, Rick (Pat), and John (Joan) and by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Ronald and Charlotte Choptovy, his sister Carol Anne and his brother Jody.
Arrangements entrusted to Needham-Jay Funeral Home. Interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date. Cindy would like to thank the team at the Palliative Care Clinic, St. Joseph’s Hospice, Dr. Crombeen and their nurse Stacie for their compassion and care of Ron.
