On May 27, 2022, Mr. Romeo Albert Fontaine of St. Paul passed away at the age of 73 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Pat; 3 daughters & 1 son, Tanya Fontaine (Colin Porozni), Laura (Dan) Power, Deanna Fontaine, Daniel Fontaine (Tianna Magis); 7 grandchildren, Hannah & Isaac Porozni, Zoe, James & Noah Fontaine, Jonathan & Joshua Power; siblings, Antoinette (Wilfred) Cote, Cecile (Michel) Wiart, Edith Fontaine, Clement (Diane) Fontaine & Carmen Brodziak (John Hutton); numerous nieces & nephews. Romeo was predeceased by his parents, Leon & Laurette Fontaine; parents-in-law, Paul & Jean Boychuk; brother-in-law, Randy Brodziak; sister-in-law, Linda Boychuk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 2 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Cathedral, St. Paul. Reverend Father Gerard Gauthier will be the celebrant with interment in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, St. Paul. At the family’s request, masks are encouraged.
