It is with great sadness that the family of the late Roland F. Park announce his passing on Monday, October 10, 2022 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 62 years Daisy A. Park; children: Gail (Eddy), Garry (Lynn), Glen (Jennifer), Tyrone (Cathy) and Jodean (Jay); grandchildren: Jana, Terri-Lynn, Tiffany, Tanisha, Matthew, Jessica, Krista, Cara and Callie; great-grandchildren: Presley, Willa, Stevie, Gemma, Kylie, Sophie, Haven, Landon, Emma, Benjamin, Rory, Jenna, Walker, Camden and Remy; brothers: Freeman (Nola), Dougal (Doreen) and Hollis (Debbie); brothers and sisters-in-law: Jim (Violet), Dougal (Doris), Charlie (Diane), Terry (Evelyn), Joan and Byron (Ina); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Fredrick and Priscilla, sisters and brothers Mildred, Cecil, James, Melvin and Cynthia, parents-in-law Stephen and Dorothy, sisters-in-law Elizabeth, Jessie and Mona. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox’s Cove on Wednesday from the hours of 7-0 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 13 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Orvin Canning officiating. Interment to follow at the Pentecostal Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Emmanuel Pentecostal Church in Cox’s Cove or to a charity of one’s choice.
