It is with heavy hearts the family of Roland “Rolie” Rosilius AKA MacGyver announce his passing at Chatham-Kent Hospice on Saturday, June 25th, 2022 at the age of 58.
Son of the late Werner and Gisela Rosilius.
Loving brother to Hoss Rosilius, Gisela (Kevin) Booker, Uwe (Kathy) Rosilius, Doris (John) Kavinsky and Patti (Steve) Kavinsky.
Father-figure to many nieces, nephews and their friends.
There was nothing that Rolie couldn’t fix, he was always tinkering and toying with anything he could get his hands on. He was a completely selfless individual, putting others before himself with an open door policy. Many of his nieces and nephews, along with their friends, always looked to Uncle Rolie for help with all of life’s twists and turns. Rolie took many day-trips and loved driving. He truly was larger than life and will be greatly missed.
The family wish to thank the incredibly caring staff at Chatham-Kent Hospice, who not only took great care of Rolie during his final days but also took care of them during his stay. They will never be able to thank them enough.
Cremation has taken place. He will laid to rest in Strathroy Cemetery, Strathroy.
