Roger Badick, of Lacombe, AB, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at the age of 78 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 34 years Veronika; grandsons Alex Badick, Erik Badick and their mother Linda Holan; Roni’s sons Michael (Linnea) Anderson and Brian (Chelsea) Badick; grandchildren Taylor, Alexandra (Matt), Brynn, Caleb (Danica) and Ella; great grandchildren Margot and Minerva; brother Dick (Beverley) Badick of Drayton Valley, AB; close friend Brad Insel; and many more family and friends. He was predeceased by his son Mark, daughter Carla and brother Carl.
Roger was born in Edmonton, AB and raised on the family farm in Drayton Valley, AB. He moved to Calgary to study accounting and eventually received his Chartered Professional Accountant Designation. He was blessed with his two children while he lived in Calgary. He eventually returned to Drayton Valley where he met the love of his life Roni and they were married shortly thereafter. Roger was a very dedicated and hardworking man. He gave everything he did 110%. In his spare time he enjoyed camping hiking, traveling and woodworking.
A Memorial Service will be held for Roger at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints – Bower Chapel, 3002 47 Avenue, Red Deer on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 1:00pm.
