Rodney Grant Josey — Lower Sackville
Age 84, of Lower Sackville. We sadly announce the passing occurred on May 18, 2022, as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Spry Bay, he was a son of the late Charles and Lavenia (Hawes) Josey, Dad was a hard worker. After 13 years with Sus and then 25 years with Moosehead Breweries, he still ventured into the chip truck business, selling fruit/vegetables, and Christmas trees. He had a great love for cars and trucks, and was often tinkering on something. His latest project was a 1963 Chev truck. Survived by daughter, Trina (Paul); and grandchildren, Josey and Guardner Forbes. He was predeceased by wife, Ruth (Heighton) Josey; brothers, Golden, Boyd, Charles; and half-brother, Ross Hubley; sisters, Freda, Edith, Vona, and Lois. Thank you to Angela and Greg Jacquard for always being there and helping dad. Cremation has taken place. There will be no funeral.
