Obituary of Roderick Clifford Barriage
Roderick Clifford Barriage of Belleville, Ontario entered into rest on Monday, April 11, 2022, at Belleville General Hospital at the age of 65. Lovingly remembered by his wife of 44 years, Darlene; his children Rachel (Robert), Sarah, and Todd (Katie); his grandchildren Carter and Calista; his granddogs Morgan and Rokee; and his grand kitties Botts and Blink. Predeceased by his parents Frederick and Cora Barriage, stepfather James Hallett, and parents-in-law George and Gwen Shier.
Rod worked for Wal-Mart (and its predecessors Woolco and Grafton-Fraser) for over 46 years, including in Belleville, Trenton, and Kingston. Rod was an active member of the Pentecostals of Quinte for over 20 years, serving as part of the POQ Dream Team in various positions over the years, including lead usher and men’s ministry director. He was also an enthusiastic supporter and billet of the Trenton Golden Hawks.
Funeral service to be held at the Pentecostals of Quinte, 490 Dundas Street West, Belleville, on Thursday, April 14 at 11:00 AM, with a reception to follow. Visitation will precede the funeral from 9:30 AM – 11:00 AM. For those who cannot attend in person, the service can be live-streamed here: vimeo.com/event/2022241
