Obituary of Roch Armand Beauparlant
It is with deep sadness that we pass along the news that Roch Beauparlant has passed away on September 9, 2022, at the age of 98. A World War II veteran, he was the beloved husband of Helene (Davidson) for 74 years. Cherished dad of Carole (Germain), Lise, Nicole and Claire (Mark). He will be sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren Justin (Amanda), Erin, Alison, Matthew (Julia), Stefan, Amy and his great-grandson Archer. Dear brother of Vivianne, Marcel (Lucie), Carmen, Helene and Pâquerette (Alan). Predeceased by his parents Fortunat and Marianne (née Duperreault) and his siblings Joseph, Rachel, Claude, Solange, Paul, Lionel and Hector.
The family wishes to thank the nursing staff of the fourth floor, the doctors and nursing staff of the Woolcott Wing and Ann vanVliet, Case Management and Discharge Planning, at the Welland site of Niagara Health for their great care, concern, and compassion. The same is said for the Care Coordinators of the Home and Community Support Services HNHB who were so understanding and helpful.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to, and extremely well and helpfully carried out by WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. A private family service has taken place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Dad loved and valued his family above all else. Therefore, for those of you who knew dad, in lieu of flowers or donations, please consider doing something family-oriented in his honour.
