Robyn Lynn Rogers Mayall August 29 1954 July 18 2022 (age 67)

Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Robyn Lynn Mayall on July 18, 2022 in Calgary, Alberta at the age of 67 after a short battle with cancer.
She was a loving wife of 47 years to John Mayall, and wonderful mother to her two children; Lansey (Scott) and Garrett (Janina). She was an adorned ‘nana’ to her three granddaughters, Kaylee (‘Bongo Bum’), Sophia (‘Miss Wiggle Butt’) and Emma (‘Curly’). She was also a cherished sister to Paige (Todd), Doug (Terri) and Brett (Candy); and sister-in-law to Jeff and Lynn.
Robyn was born in Toronto, Ontario on August 29, 1954 to Doug and Maggie Rogers, the first of four children. The family moved to Burnaby, British Columbia in 1955, where Robyn spent her younger years before moving to Calgary after marrying John in 1975.
She had a lengthy career in the dental industry after receiving her dental assisting diploma. Her career spanned the family’s time from Vancouver to Calgary to Beaumont and then back to Calgary where she finished her career at Ranchlands Dental. The friendships she made during her career were like nothing else, it truly was her second family.
Those who had met Robyn did not forget her. She had the friendliest demeanour and would welcome you in with open arms. She had an infectious personality and ‘wicked’ sense of humour that would often cause you to blush. She was also a contender for the greatest prankster; those who know, know.
Aside from her silly side, she was also a healer. She was there when you needed her, with her always positive attitude; whether you needed a shoulder to cry on, some advice, a cheerleader, or to simply vent, you could talk to Robyn. She would drop it all to help her friends and family. Also, ensure everyone was well fed.
Crafts and travel were also passions of Robyn’s. Her artistic ways and creative sense were amazing, and she loved creating personal gifts for people. Travelling with family and friends was a highlight of her life and created memories that will live on forever.
She was truly one of a kind and will be remembered as larger than life and will be forever in our hearts, nudging us towards another water fight. We know she is continuing her journey and having a laugh with family and friends that went before her. She left us young and was vibrant and cheerful right up to her last days.
A Memorial Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at 10:00am at Evan J. Strong Funeral Services North with live-streaming* available through the link below.
