It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our father, husband, son, brother and uncle Robin (Robbie) Costello of Ferryland at the age of 52.
Predeceased by his father Gerald Costello, father and mother-in-law Michael and Josephine Walsh and two nephews Rocky O’Brien and Bradley Molloy.
Leaving to mourn and still surrounded by his love, is his dedicated wife Tracy, his son Thomas -his pride and joy and loving mother Joan.
Robbie also leaves a large circle of family and friends with fond memories; brothers Carl (Margie), Gerard (Pat), Aidan (Dianne), Desie (Christine); sisters Patricia (Junior) and Mona (Glenn); sisters in-law Michelle (Michael) and Alicia (Robert) along with many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Also grieving with the family are new and longtime co-workers including the Light and Power boys, Hatch Engineering in Voisey’s Bay and Tracy’s work family, the staff of 5NB.
Robbie, a recognized tradesman, was a lover of hard work, music, fishing and hockey especially his Toronto Maple Leafs.
Visitation for Robin will take place at Fahey’s Funeral home in Fermeuse Sunday, Oct 23rd from 2-9pm and Monday October 24 from 10-11. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Holy Trinity church in Ferryland on October 24 at 1pm. Interment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery. A Celebration of his life will follow at Regional Arts Centre in Ferryland.
Flowers gratefully accepted or monetary donations may be made in Robbie’s memory to an education fund for Thomas at tracy.costello@mail.com.
