Roberta Rose
It is with great sadness that the family of Roberta Rose announces her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Center at Harbour Breton on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, age 67 years of Hermitage.
Roberta leaves to mourn her loving family: husband, Arch, of 47 years; sons, Darren (Delores) at Harbour Breton and David (Colleen) at Hermitage; daughters, Karen (Timmy Loveless) at Seal Cove and Marie (Herb McDonald) at Hermitage; her grandchildren, her pride and joy, Andrew, Emily (Justin Snook), Brianna, Abbie, Olivia, Abraham and Avery; special niece, Regina Cox (Peter), who she thought of as a daughter; brothers, Wilson and Darrell Marks at Harbour Breton; sisters, Violet (Winston) at Boston, Mass. and Bernice (Frank Rose) at Hermitage; brothers in law, Leslie at Hermitage, Roy at Grand Bank, Doug (Gloria) at Hermitage, Gord (Eleanor) at Paradise and Eric at Marystown; sisters in law, Melita at Hermitage, Florence (Junior) at Conne Pond and Doris Rose at Fortune; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, Esau and Agnes Marks; parents in law, Reginald and Emily Rose; sisters and brothers.
Visitation will take place at St. Saviour’s Haven at Hermitage on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 and Thursday, February 24 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on both days. COVID 19 regulations will be followed.
Funeral Service will take place on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 11:00 am from St. Saviour’s Anglican Church at Hermitage with Rev. Bruce Vallis officiating. COVID 19 regulations will be followed.
Cremation to follow. Burial will take place at a later date.
