Roberta Catherine Walsh, wife of Lawrence Weldon Walsh of Trout Brook NB passed away Friday November 11, 2022 at Dr. George Dumont Hospital, at the age of 70.
Born in Barryville NB, she was the daughter of the late Wilbert and Veronica (Russell) Ross. She was a waitress at the former Jean’s Restaurant, the Score Board Restaurant, and a homemaker.
Besides her husband Lawrence, she is survived by three daughter; Mary Anne Walsh (Keith Sippley) of Edmonton AB, Tanya Walsh of Kingston ON and Jackie Murray (Peter) of South Esk NB, two sons; Paul Walsh of Edmonton AB and David Walsh of Miramichi, three sisters; Elizabeth Ross of Saint John NB, Rachel Warren (Jack) of Chaplin Island Road and Lisa Anderson (Late Abby) of Burnt Church, two brothers; Leon Ross (Lori) of Quarryville and Greg Ross (Faye) of Barryville, sister-in-law Sharon Rousselle, eight grandchildren; John, Rebecca, Isabella, Sydney, Matthew, Andy, Ryland and Xavery, one great grandchild Damien, brother-in-law Clayton Walsh (Chad Shearer), sisters-in-law; Brenda Walsh, Gisele McClafferty, Rhoda Keating (Jack), Bertha Taylor (John), several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two sisters; Irene Ross (Late Melvin), Francis Jardine (Late Marvin Jardine), one brother Lawrence (Little Man), her father and mother-in-law Weldon and Rita Walsh, brothers-in-law Paul and Elmer Walsh.
Roberta Catherine Walsh is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation on Thursday November 17 from 2-4 & 7-9 and Friday November 18 from 1-3. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday November 18 at 6p.m. at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, with Father Peter Aloo officiating.
