Wayne had achieved his Journeyman Red Seal in both heavy-duty mechanics and welding, at a young age, and from there he started on the rigs and finished on the pipeline. His work took him all over the world. He spent many years travelling back and forth overseas to various countries. Wayne had a great love, and appreciation for Africa. Recognizing and caring so deeply for the hard life they had to live.
Wayne was an extremely giving, accepting, generous man. His heart was kind and had love for everyone. His best days were spent at his farm, his door was always open for all to come and enjoy.
