Obituary
Bob Truin passed away suddenly on Feb 10th. Bob was admired for his love and devotion to his late wife and twin daughters. Bob was known for his humble, care free and friendly personality. His laugh and smile was always inviting and welcoming. Bob was the rock to his family and truly the most selfless man.
Beloved husband of thirty-five years to the late Sharon Truin. Loving father of twins Meagan Truin (Dillon Quinn) and Emma Truin (Brian Bald). Son of Joseph (late) and Beverly (late) Truin. Dearest brother of Ken Truin (Kelly McCaw) and Kevin Truin (Lisa Truin). The beloved son-in-law to Gary and Sheila (late) Aldworth.
Bob devoted his life to his family and served the Quinte West Soccer Club and Simcoe Office Supplies for many years. Bob will be remembered for his warm greetings, lining many of the fields and for his years of dedication to both games and tournaments. Bob inspired both his children to do only the things they love and to take everyday given as a gift of endless opportunity. Bob always gave the best advice and was nothing short of a patient and giving man.
Bob, along with his late wife Sharon, taken from their friends and loved ones too soon, will be forever missed and remembered. There will be a celebration of life scheduled for a future date for family, friends and anyone who enjoyed the wonderful company of Robert and Sharon Truin. Rest easy Bob, mum is waiting for you.
