Robert Shiller 2022

Robert Shiller
We are saddened by the loss of our beloved Robbie after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, January 28, 2022, at the age of fifty-nine, in Toronto. Loving husband and best friend of Nori Kobayashi for twenty-eight years. Wonderful father of Maddie and Eli. Cherished son of Arthur and the late Sandy. Brother and brother-in-law of Gary and Maxine, Carolyn and Neil, Michi and the late Brian, Jim and Karen. Uncle of Marissa and Kevin, Alexa, Ellen, and Emily. He will be sorely missed by his cousins, Susan and Ilene. Robbie graduated from McGill University and had a financial career in New York, Montreal and Toronto. He played rugby for McGill and enjoyed all sports: golf, baseball, tennis, skiing, and hockey. He loved spending summers in Ogunquit and Stowe and walking in High Park with his beloved dog Hutch. All of his friends and colleagues, and those who knew him, will hold Robbie’s memory in their hearts forever.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Robert Shiller 2022..

  1. It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Rob. On behalf of the entire Harper family we wish to extend our heartfelt sympathy to Nori, Maddie and Eli. We are thinking of you during this difficult time; as are countless others who were lucky enough to know Rob and benefited from his humour and love of life.
With all our love, Paul, Sue and Charlotte Harper.

  2. Our sincere condolences to Nori, Maddie and Eli. Austin and Eli played hockey together and Rob and I would share many road trips together. Rob was a great man. Sincerely, Austin and Kent
