Robert Richardson Good, age 90, of Perth South passed away peacefully at St. Marys Memorial Hospital on Sunday June 19, 2022. He was born in Stratford, ON, on October 10, 1931. Robert was the son of John and Cora (nee Richardson) Good. He was the beloved husband of the late Marylin (nee Coulter). Loving father of Mary Teutsch (Kevin), John Good (Laura), Janet Good and James Good. Cherished grandfather of Hannah, Grayson and Brooklyn Good. He was predeceased by his brothers and sister Alvin Good (Matilda, Jean), Helen Goldsworthy (John), Harvey Good, and Orville Good and brother-in-law and sister-in-law James Coulter (Addie) and Margaret Runstedler. He is fondly remembered by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Patricia Good, William and June Coulter, Robert and Jean Coulter, Edward Runstedler and many nieces and nephews, the Teutsch family and dear cousin Helen Mogk. Robert had lived his entire life on the family homestead (est 1842) in Downie Township, which he and Marylin farmed until they turned the operation over to their sons. Robert received a 40-year Veteran Breeder pin in 2001. He had a love of dancing, storytelling, travel, local and family history. Robert was a member of Thamesview United Church. Family and friends are invited to Robert’s visitation on Friday, June 24, 2022 from 5-8:00 p.m., and to his funeral service on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.
